One Pot 2 dishes - Sticky Rice with Spare Ribs and Chicken Soup with Apple and Red Dates

Sticky rice with spare ribs

Ingredients

Spare ribs
300g (cut into 1-1.5 cm size )
Glutinous rice
250g
Dried mushrooms
3
Minced garlic
1 tsp
Chopped spring onion
 appropriate

Seasoning:

Oyster sauce
2 tbsps
Soy sauce
1 tbsp
Rice wine
1 tbsp
Five-spice powder
appropriate
Five-spice powder
appropriate
salt
1/4 tsp
Sesame oil
1 tsp

 


Chicken Soup with Apple and Red Dates

Ingredients :

Red apples
2(Fuji Apple)
Red dates
10
Chicken Thigh
 2 pieces
Fungus
2
Water
1800ml


Seasoning

Salt
appropriate



Method: 
1.Rinse the glutinous rice and let it soak overnight, then drained the water. Soak the dried mushrooms until soft then cut into slices.

2. Clean the spare ribs and drain away the water. Mix it with minced garlic and seasoning and let it marinate for 1 hour. Set aside.

3. Add the spare ribs (method 1) and sliced mushrooms into the glutinous rice and mix well, place it on the steamer rack(lined with aluminum foil).

4. Wash and remove the seed from the dates, soak the dried fungus until soft. Clean the chicken and apples. Cut the apples into small cube and set aside.

5. Put in (method 4) ingredients, pour in 1800ml water into the SMART COOKER. Put on the steamer rack , then put in (method 3)glutinous rice and ribs.

6. Cover the lid and press the SOUP function and adjust cooking time to 2:30hrs and press start to cook.

7. When it is ready, take out the glutinous and spare ribs; put on some spring onions and serve.

8. Take out the steamer racks and add some salt to the soup just before serving.

Glass Noodles with Pork

Glass Noodles with Pork

Ingredients:

Glass noodles
 4 bunches
 Chopped garlic
1 tbsp
Minced pork
100g
 Chopped chilli
 1 tsp
Chilli oil
 1 tbsp
 Chopped ginger
  1 tsp
Sesame oil
 1 tbsp
 Chopped spring onion
 1 stalk
Chopped coriander
tbsp

Seasoning:

Soy Bean paste
 2 tbsp
Soy sauce
 2 tbsp
Sugar
1tbsp
Water
 
 250ml

 

Method:

1. Soak the glass noodles in water for a while。

2. Select the “Steam” function to heat up chilli oil in pot and sauté minced pork until half set, then add in chopped garlic, chilli, ginger and spring onion and stir-fry until fragrant.

3. Pour in seasoning and stir well. Then close the lid and simmer for 2 minutes.

4. Lastly, add in chopped coriander and sesame oil and mix well. Dish up and serve hot.

Method:
1.Using the Mix Master whisk Ingredients A till fluffy, add in Ingredients B,and whisk till it thickens.

2. Pour in Ingredient C to A mixture (method 1) and mix well, then add in ingredient D and E mix it.

3. Slightly brush butter on the SMART COOKER inner pot then pour in the mixture into the pot, close the lid, select “CAKE” function, press start to bake.

Braised Chicken Wings with Soy Bean Paste

Braised Chicken Wings with Soy Bean Paste

Ingredients:

A
Chicken Wings 800 g
Preserved Soy Bean Paste 2 Tbsp
Chopped Garlic 1 tbsp
Shredded Ginger 1 Tbsp
Chopped Spring Onion 1 Tbsp
B
Dark Soy Sacue 2 Tbsp 
Light Soy Sauce 1 tbsp
Sugar 2 tbsp
Wine 2 Tbsp
Pepper Dash of
Sesame Oil 1 tsp
Water 400ml

  

Method:

1. Rinse Chicken Wings and cut into 2 pieces.

2. Heat 2 tablespoon of oil in Pressure cooker and fry chopped garlic and ginger until fragrant. Add soy bean paste and chicken wings to fry until fragrant.

3. Add 400ml of water and seasoning B, bring to boil and cover with lid.

4. Keep on high heat until the pressure regulator indicator turns green. Now reduce your heat to low/medium so that the pressure indicator stays at the green level. If the indicator is red, you need to reduce your heat further.

5. Cook at this temperature for 5-7 minutes. When time is up turn off your heat.

6. Wait until the pressure indicator has dropped down completely before opening the lid.

Sesame Chicken

Sesame Chicken

Ingredients:

Boneless Chicken Drumstick  3
Red Dates 5 grains
Wolfberry 1 tbsp
Fungus appropriate
Ginger 40g ( thinly sliced)
Black Sesame Oil 3 tbsp
Chicken bouillon powder 2 tsp
Rice Wine 300ml


Method:

1. Clean the drumstick and cut into bite-size pieces, set aside.

2. Remove the red dates seed, quick rinse the wolfberries, soak the fungus then cut the hard part, set aside.

3. Heat up the SMART COOKER using “STEAM” function, put in the thinly sliced
gingers stir fry it till it curl up and dry, then add in sesame oil and sauté till fragrant.
Add in the chicken and stir fry, then add in red dates, wolfberries, fungus and rice
wine.

4. Close the lid and continue cooking with the “STEAM” function till time is up.
