High Calcium Healthy Rice

Ingredients : 

A
Rice
300 g
Carrot Juice
300 ml
Salt
1⁄2 tsp
Carrot (Shredded)
40 g
Aberdeen Whitebait
30 g
Pineapple (Diced)
50 g
B  
Raisins
2 tbsp
Sea Weed Slice
Some
Black Sesame
1⁄2 tsp
Cucumber (Shredded)
80 g
C
Apple Vinegar
1 tbsp
Olive Oil
1 tbsp


Method:
1. Pour the rice and carrot juice into the “Smart Cooker“with 1⁄2 tsp of salt.

2. Divide the pineapple, shredded carrot and Aberdeen whitebaits into 3 portions, put it into the cooker, cover with lid, press “White Rice” function on the “Smart Cooker”.

3. When the rice is cooked, add in seasonings and raisins, mix well.

4. Garnished with shredded cucumber, sea weed and black sesame before serving.

Lemon Sponge Cake

Lemon Sponge Cake

Ingredients : 

A
Optima sponge flour
300 g
Eggs
5
B
Plain yoghurt
1 Tbsp
Lemon juice
2 Tbsp
Lemon rind
 1 Tbsp
Melted Butter
100g


Method :

1. Combine “Optima” sponge mix flour and eggs with low speed for 1 minute, then turn to high speed to mix until firm peak, white and thick formed for about 7-8 minutes.

2. Add in melted butter, beat with low heat for a few seconds, Add in lemon juice and lemon rind, and mix until well blended.

3. Pour the batter into greased inner pot of the Smart Cooker.

4. Select “Cake” function and press “Cooking” (45 minutes).

Cheese Sponge Cake

Cheese Sponge Cake

Ingredients :

Optima Sponge Flour

Parmesan Cheese powder
80 g
Melted butter
120 g


Method:
1. Combine “Optima” sponge mix flour and eggs with low speed for 1 minute, then turn to high speed to mix until firm peak formed for about 5-8 minutes.

2. Turn to low speed and fold in melted butter, mix well then add in cheese powder, mix 
well for few minutes.

3. Pour the batter into the greased inner pot.

4. Select “Cake” function and press “Start” (45 minutes).

Original Sponge Cake

Method:

2. Turn to low speed and fold in melted butter, mix well for a minute.

3. Pour the batter into the greased inner pot.

4. Select “Cake” function and press “Start” (45 minutes).

Brown Rice with Chinese Yam and Chicken

Brown Rice with Chinese Yam and Chicken

Ingredients :
Brown Rice
1 Cup (washed)
Chinese Yam
120 g (skinned and cut diagonally)
Chicken
75 g (cut into pieces)
Water
300ml
Oil
1 tsp

Marinade:
Sesame oil
 1/2 tsp
Soy sauce
1/2 tsp
Corn flour
1/2 tsp

Seasoning  :
Soy sauce
1 ½ tbsp
Dark soy sauce
 1 tsp


Method :
1. Marinate the chicken with the marinade ingredients for 20 minutes.

2. Select “STEAM” function to heat up 1 tablespoon oil, put in marinated chicken stir-fry awhile then add in Chinese Yam and seasoning and mix well.

3. Lastly, pour in brown rice mix evenly, close the lid and select “BROWN RICE” function and start cooking.

 

Multigrain Bread

Multigrain Bread

Ingredients A:

Multigrain flour
100g
High gluten flour
400g
Milk powder
50g
Caster sugar
80g
Salt
1/3 tsp
Instant yeast
 10g


Ingredient B:

Low fat milk
250ml
Egg
 1


Ingredients C:

Butter
65g(Melted)
Raisins
 60g


Method :
1. Use the MIX MASTER, mix all ingredients A.

2. Mix the egg with low fat milk, then pour into the MIX MASTER.

3. Use low speed ( level 1) to mix for approximately 15 minutes till the mixture become thicken.

4. Add the melted butter into the mixture, mix for another 10 minutes until the butter mixed well with the dough, then add in raisins.

5. Take out the dough and place it into the SMART COOKER inner pot, wrap it with cling wrap and allow it to rest in room temperature for up to two hours till it rises into double the size.

6. Remove the cling wrap and select CAKE function, set baking time to 1 hour and press start.

Taiwan-style Fried Meehoon

Taiwan-style Fried Meehoon

Ingredients :
Meehoon
300gm
Mushroom
6-8 pcs
Cabbage
1/4 grain
Carrots
1/2 pcs
Chinese Celery
2 stalks
Lean meat
700gm
Broth
 2 cups
Dried shrimp
15gm
Fried shallots
1 ½ tbsp
Fried garlic
1 ½ tbsp
Oil
1 tbsp

Marinade:

Soy sauce
2 tbsp
Corn flour
appropriate
Pepper
appropriate
Rice wine
appropriate


Methods:
1.Cut the mushroom, cabbage and carrot, and Chinese celery into julienne (thin strips). Julienne the lean meat (cut into thin strips) and marinate.

2. Use SMART COOKER “STEAM” function to heat the oil. First, add in julienne mushroom, follow by julienne carrot and then dried shrimps to the pot fry till medium-well.

3. Add in the marinated julienne lean meat and cook it till medium-well. Then add in the fried shallot and fried garlic stir fry it until all the ingredients are well-mixed.

4. Add in julienne cabbage and julienne chinese celery stir fry them till you can smell the celery aroma. Lastly, pour in the broth and meehoon stir fry till all meehoon coated with all the ingredients evenly then close the lid. Cook for 3 minutes and dish out to serve.

Remark: May open the lid and stir fry it from time to time up to 3 times.

 

Braised Beef

Braised Beef

Ingredients :
Beef
500gm
Carrot

4 cups
Oil

Seasoning:
Rice wine
1 tbsp
Salt
1 tsp
Soy sauce
3 tbsps
Black soy sauce
2 tbsps
Rock sugar
1 tbsp
Multipurpose spice pack
 1 pack


Method :

1. Rinse the beef, boil for 10 minutes, cool the beef by putting it into a bowl of cold water and then cut into small pieces.

2. Remove the carrot and radish skin and cut into pieces. Spring onions cut into 4cm length, slice the ginger and chilies.

3. Heat up 2 tbsps of oil by using “STEAM” function, add in spring onion, ginger, chilies and beef. Stir fry until fragrant then pour in some rice wine. Lastly, add in carrot, radish, water and seasoning mix well , and then close the lid.

4.Remain steam function, adjust cooking time to 1 1/2 hour.

Method:
1. Put in all ingredients and seasoning into the SMART COOKER.

2. Close the lid, select “STEAM” function, and adjust the cooking time to 1 hour and press start to cook.

Pork Trotter in Soy Sauce

Pork Trotter in Soy Sauce

Ingredients:

Pig’s front leg (shin and trotter portion)

Coriander

Red yeast rice

Dried mushrooms
3 pcs(do not soak)
Shallots

2 cans
Rice wine
160ml
Ginger
4 slices
Garlic
5 cloves

Seasoning:

Bean paste
2 tbsp
Soy sauce
 5 tbsp
Dark soy sauce
1 tsp
Water
500ml


Spices:

Star anise
2 grains
Bay leave
3 pcs
Cinnamon
1 stick
Dried chili
4pcs
Black pepper
 1 tsp


Method:
1. Boil the half of the pig’s front leg for 10 minutes, remove the smell and make it more flavourful, clean it after boiled, set aside.

2. Put in the ready to use pig’s front leg, all ingredients, seasonings and spices to the SMART COOKER, and stir well.

3. Close the lid, select STEAM function then adjust cooking time to 1 1/2 hour then press start to cook.

Hint: You may adjust the cooking time depending on your liking on the tenderness of the trotter.
