Hoisin Sauce Spare Ribs

Ingredients :
A
Spare ribs (chopped into 4 cm length)
400 g
B
Hoisin sauce
3 tbsp
Oyster sauce
1 tbsp
Dark soy sauce
1⁄4 tsp
Sugar
2 tbsp
Shaoxing Wine
2 tbsp
Garlic (mashed)
2 cloves
Shallots (mashed)

Method:
1. Clean and drain the spare ribs.

2. Marinate the spare ribs with marinade B overnight in the fridge.

3. Put the marinated spare ribs into the Smart Cooker.

4. Choose “Steam” function, and cook for 30 minutes.

Classic BBQ Pork Ribs

Classic BBQ Pork Ribs

Ingredients  :

A
Pork Ribs
600 g
Barbeque Sauce
3tbsp  
Sweet Chilli Sauce
1 tbsp
Dark soy sauce
1 tbsp
Red Wine
2 tbsp
Garlic (chopped)
1 tsp
Worstershire Sauce
1 tsp
Sugar
2 tbsp
HP Sauce
1 tsp


Method:

1. Clean and wash pork ribs.
2. Pour all ingredients A into the Smart Cooker inner pot. Mix Well.
3. Select ‘Steam’ function, time as 30 minutes, press “Cooking” to start.

Aromatic Roast Spare Ribs

Ingredients :
A
Spare ribs
600 g
Sesame (toasted)
garnish  
B
Salted Bean Paste
1⁄2 tbsp
Reddish bean curd
1⁄2 piece
 Hoisin sauce
1⁄2 tbsp
Light soy sauce
1⁄2 tbsp
Sugar
 60g 
L&P sauce
1⁄2 tbsp
Chinese wine (ShouXing wine)
1 tbsp
Five Spice Powder
1⁄2 tsp
Chopped garlic
1 tbsp
Sesame Oil
1 tbsp
Dark soy sauce
1 tbsp

Method:
1. Marinate spare ribs with all the ingredients B for 2-3 hours.

2. Pour all marinated spare ribs with sauce into Smart Cooker, choose ‘Steam’ function, press ‘Cooking’ button until the red light is lid.

3. Sprinkle toasted sesame to serve.

Marmite Spare Ribs

Marmite sauce
1 tbsp
Dark soy sauce
 1 tbsp
Oyster sauce

Light soy sauce

Method:
1. Clean and drain the spare ribs. Marinate the spare ribs with all seasonings B for 1 hour.

2. Add in all ingredients into the Smart Cooker.

3. Choose “Steam” function, and cook for 20 minutes.

Steamed Ground Pork with Salted Egg with Garlic Rice

Ingredients  :

A - Mince Pork
Ground pork
300 g
Ginger (chopped)
10 g
Spring onion (chopped)

Light Soy sauce
2 tsp

1⁄2 tsp
Wine
2 tsp

Corn flour

Salted Egg Yolk (chopped)

C - Garlic Rice
Jasmine Rice
3 cups
Water
3 cups
Chopped Garlic
1 Tbsp
Melted Butter
2 Tbsp
Salt
1 tsp
Lemongrass

Method:
1. Use “Reheat” function on Smart Cooker to melt butter with garlic, add in rice, salt, water and lemongrass. Mix Well.

2. Put the ground meat in a big bowl. Add salt and stir until slightly sticky. Mix in all Ingredients A until all the water is absorbed by the meat. Then use palm to pat until flat and arrange the meat mixture into a small plate. Put it on the steam rack with the chopped salted egg yolk on top of the mixture.

3. Put the steam rack with the ground pork in a bowl together into the Smart Cooker.

4. Choose the “Rice” function. Press “Start” button.

Vietnamese Spare Ribs

Method :
1. Clean and drain the spare ribs.

Pork Trotter in Soy Sauce

Pork Trotter in Soy Sauce

Ingredients:

Pig’s front leg (shin and trotter portion)
1/2
Coriander
1 stalk
Red yeast rice
1 tbsp
Dried mushrooms
3 pcs(do not soak)
Shallots
1 head (cut)
Beer
2 cans
Rice wine
160ml
Ginger
4 slices
Garlic
5 cloves
Sugar
 1 tbsp


Seasoning:

Bean paste
2 tbsp
Soy sauce
 5 tbsp
Dark soy sauce
1 tsp
Water
500ml


Spices:

Star anise
2 grains
Bay leave
3 pcs
Cinnamon
1 stick
Dried chili
4pcs
Black pepper
 1 tsp


Method:
1. Boil the half of the pig’s front leg for 10 minutes, remove the smell and make it more flavourful, clean it after boiled, set aside.

2. Put in the ready to use pig’s front leg, all ingredients, seasonings and spices to the SMART COOKER, and stir well.

3. Close the lid, select STEAM function then adjust cooking time to 1 1/2 hour then press start to cook.

Hint: You may adjust the cooking time depending on your liking on the tenderness of the trotter.

One Pot 2 dishes - Sticky Rice with Spare Ribs and Chicken Soup with Apple and Red Dates

Sticky rice with spare ribs

Ingredients

Spare ribs
300g (cut into 1-1.5 cm size )
Glutinous rice
250g
Dried mushrooms
3
Minced garlic
1 tsp
Chopped spring onion

Seasoning:

Oyster sauce
2 tbsps
Soy sauce
1 tbsp
Rice wine
1 tbsp
Five-spice powder
appropriate
Five-spice powder

salt
1/4 tsp
Sesame oil
1 tsp

 


Chicken Soup with Apple and Red Dates

Ingredients :

Red apples
2(Fuji Apple)
Red dates
10
Chicken Thigh
 2 pieces
Fungus
2
Water
1800ml


Seasoning

Salt
appropriate



Method: 
1.Rinse the glutinous rice and let it soak overnight, then drained the water. Soak the dried mushrooms until soft then cut into slices.

2. Clean the spare ribs and drain away the water. Mix it with minced garlic and seasoning and let it marinate for 1 hour. Set aside.

3. Add the spare ribs (method 1) and sliced mushrooms into the glutinous rice and mix well, place it on the steamer rack(lined with aluminum foil).

4. Wash and remove the seed from the dates, soak the dried fungus until soft. Clean the chicken and apples. Cut the apples into small cube and set aside.

5. Put in (method 4) ingredients, pour in 1800ml water into the SMART COOKER. Put on the steamer rack , then put in (method 3)glutinous rice and ribs.

6. Cover the lid and press the SOUP function and adjust cooking time to 2:30hrs and press start to cook.

7. When it is ready, take out the glutinous and spare ribs; put on some spring onions and serve.

8. Take out the steamer racks and add some salt to the soup just before serving.

Glass Noodles with Pork

Glass Noodles with Pork

Ingredients:

Glass noodles
 4 bunches
 Chopped garlic
1 tbsp
Minced pork
100g
 Chopped chilli
 1 tsp
Chilli oil
 1 tbsp
 Chopped ginger
  1 tsp
Sesame oil
 1 tbsp
 Chopped spring onion
 1 stalk
Chopped coriander
tbsp

Seasoning:

Soy Bean paste
 2 tbsp
Soy sauce
 2 tbsp
Sugar
1tbsp
Water
 
 250ml

 

Method:

1. Soak the glass noodles in water for a while。

2. Select the “Steam” function to heat up chilli oil in pot and sauté minced pork until half set, then add in chopped garlic, chilli, ginger and spring onion and stir-fry until fragrant.

3. Pour in seasoning and stir well. Then close the lid and simmer for 2 minutes.

4. Lastly, add in chopped coriander and sesame oil and mix well. Dish up and serve hot.
