Braised Beef

Ingredients :
Beef
500gm
Carrot
1
Radish
1
Spring onion
2
Ginger
3 slices
Chili
 1
Water
4 cups
Oil
1 tbsp

Seasoning:
Rice wine
1 tbsp
Salt
1 tsp
Soy sauce
3 tbsps
Black soy sauce
2 tbsps
Rock sugar
1 tbsp
Multipurpose spice pack
 1 pack


Method :

1. Rinse the beef, boil for 10 minutes, cool the beef by putting it into a bowl of cold water and then cut into small pieces.

2. Remove the carrot and radish skin and cut into pieces. Spring onions cut into 4cm length, slice the ginger and chilies.

3. Heat up 2 tbsps of oil by using “STEAM” function, add in spring onion, ginger, chilies and beef. Stir fry until fragrant then pour in some rice wine. Lastly, add in carrot, radish, water and seasoning mix well , and then close the lid.

4.Remain steam function, adjust cooking time to 1 1/2 hour.

 

Beef Stew in Tomato Sauce

Buffalo Smart Cooker - Stainless Steel Inner Pot

Ingredients A
 
280 g Beef belly (cubed)
1 Carrot (chopped) 
1 Tomato (diced) 
 
Ingredients B
 
3-4 cloves Garlic (chopped) 
1 tbsp oil 
1 Onion (julienned) 
 
Ingredients C
 
2 Bay leaves 
Dash of Corn Starch 
A pinch Pepper 
1⁄2 tbsp Sugar 
1⁄2 tsp Salt 
180 ml Water 
1 tbsp HP sauce HP 
1 tsp L& P Sauce (Worceteshire) L&P 
1 tbsp Light Soy Sauce 
1 tbsp Dark Soy Sauce 
1⁄2 tbsp Oyster Sauce 
1⁄2 tbsp Red Wine 
1 tbsp Tomato Sauce 
 
Method:
 
1. Wash and cut ingredient A. Set aside.
2. Use Reheat function to saute B ingredients in Smart Cooker for 4 minutes..
3. Combine ingredients A and C in Smart Cooker. Stir well.
4. Choose ‘Steam’ function and set time to 30 minutes. Hold the ‘Start’ button for 2 seconds until the indicator light is lit. 

Taiwanese Beef Noodle

Taiwanese Beef Noodle

Ingredients A


600 g Beef short ribs 

 
Ingredients B

 
3 tbsp Chilli bean sauce 
200 g Chinese cabbage
20 g Spring onion (sliced)
20 g Ginger (chopped)
300 g Ramen
1 tsp Salt
2 tsp Sugar
2 tbsp Chinese wine
800 cc Water 


Method:


 1. Cut the ribs into small serving pieces. Blanch wash and set aside. Wash and cut the Chinese cabbage into strips.

2. Add in 1 tbsp oil, spring onion, ginger and the chilli bean sauce into the cooker, press the ‘Keep warm’ function on the Smart Cooker until the green indicator light is lit, then press ‘Reheat’ button and set time for 8 minutes. Saute until fragrant. 

3. Add beef and all the seasonings, then choose ‘Soup’ function (timer set to 1.5 hour), hold the ‘Start’ button for 2 seconds until the indicator light is lit. 

4. Count down to 5 minutes, add in the ramen and stir well. 

5. Cook until the set time has elapsed, add in the Chinese cabbage. Ready to serve.
